Volunteers Wanted 

Do you have a few hours to spare? Could you help us to raise funds and improve animal welfare in our area?  Rspca East Norfolk Branch is an independently run charity. We rely totally on the kindness and donations of local people. It costs thousands of pounds a year to fund our vital work in alleviating pain and suffering to local animals. Our volunteers are amazing and without them we would not be able to continue our vital work.

Could you help with any of the following?

Collecting box organisers - Could you distribute and collect up to five boxes in your area. We are currently looking for extra helpers in the areas of Great Yarmouth, Stalham, North Walsham, Harleston, Acle.

Re- cycling co-ordinator - We currently recycle mobile phones and printer cartridges. Could you help to push this forward and get more people actively involved?

Coffee morning organisers - Do you have a church hall or village hall near you? Could you put on and organise a regular coffee morning with your friends and neighbours. This could even be in your own home.

Car boot sales - Do you have a spare few hours on a Sunday morning, could you help organise a regular stall. This could raise much needed funds if done on a regular basis. Goods will be supplied.

Everyclick and easyfundraising - If you use the internet you can raise funds without even leaving home. Could you help to promote this amongst your family, friends, and work colleagues? This would take no time at all as you could be raising funds just while searching and shopping online. Check out our website for more details.

Event’s organiser - We are looking for someone to co-ordinate our sponsored walk on the morning of May 16th at Acle Great Yarmouth. This will be organised by the Rotary club of Great Yarmouth who will manage the event. We will need someone who can be present on the day to look after our walkers and also to get as many people involved as possible via posters, media, and word of mouth, to make this a success.  Can you think of other events that we could possibly do?

Supermarket Collections - Could you arrange to collect in a local supermarket perhaps for one day a month at a local supermarket near you?

Jumble sales - Do you have a group of friends that could help organise a regular jumble sale.

Dress down day - Could you organise a dress down day at work. You could charge everyone a pound with the money going towards helping local animals.
