Want to be part of a friendly team?

Do you have a few hours to spare? Could you help us to raise funds and help to improve animal welfare in our area?  Rspca East Norfolk Branch is an independently run charity. We rely totally on the kindness and donations of local people. It costs thousands of pounds a year to fund our vital work in alleviating pain and suffering to local animals. Our volunteers are amazing and without them we would not be able to continue our vital work.

Could you help with any of the following?

NEW SHOP OPENING

We will hopefullly have a new shop opening In North Walsham before Christmas, we will be looking for the following people to help raise funds to help us sustain our animal welfare in our local area. The shop will be situated on Mundesley Road, North Walsham.

  • VOLUNTEER DEPUTY MANAGER,
  • CHARITY SHOP HELPERS,
  • VOLUNTEER DRIVER.

CALL DEBS FOR AN APPLICATION FORM ON 07927000466 OR EMAIL rspcaeastnorfolk@aol.com

Back room helpers- We need people who are able to sort items at our charity shops ready for sale., and to keep the back of the shop tidy.

Fundraisers- We need you

Dog fosterers-Do you have time to spare, and are at home for most of the day. We need reliable caring people in the Yarmouth and surrounding areas to look after neglected, sick or injured dogs. This would be on a short term basis of up to three months maximum. The branch would supply all the relevant food, and pay for any veterinary treatment necessary. You will need to have a secure garden and have a home check.

Home Visitors- We need people living in the North Walsham/Wroxham areas to visit the homes of potential adopters to ensure their suitability for an RSPCA animal and to revisit homes to ensure that the adoption was a success.

Charity Shop Helpers- We have two Charity shops within the town of Great Yarmouth. We need friendly people with a common sense attitude to help us raise much needed funds for the treatment of animals locally.
Please pop in to either shop and have a chat with the team.

Volunteer driver- We need someone one hour a day twice a week to move rotated stock from Caister Road to Regent Street shop. Contact Tracy direct at Regent Street shop on  07561312734

Street collection/supermarket collections co-ordinator- Could you organise a group of volunteers to do a street collection or to collect in your local supermarket. This could be as often or as little as you want to fit in with your life style. We have a weekly collection in May at Tesco Great Yarmouth and would need several volunteers.

Collecting box organisers - Could you distribute and collect up to five boxes in your area. We are currently looking for extra helpers in all areas, especially areas outside Great Yarmouth.

Animal welfare clinic receptionist x 2- Confident computer literate person with common sense required to book in clients at our welfare clinic. You will need to be an animal lover and respect the confedentiality of the clients. This is a very busy clinic.

Coffee morning organisers - Do you have a church hall or village hall near you? Could you put on and organise a regular coffee morning with your friends and neighbours. This could even be in your own home.

Maintenance person- Someone willing to spend a couple of hours here and there fixing up our shops and animal clinic. The odd lick of paint here, a blind put up there. As much or as liitle time as you want.  Even a one off really appreciated.

Please contact Debra Cook for any volunteering opportunities

If it’s not listed above and you have an idea then please get in touch.

You would be joining a fun group of people.
